Provides personal security monitoring via your mobile phone using SMS messaging

or optional high security 24 hour back-to-base monitoring. The SMS8 is a complete

hardwired alarm system for your home or ofﬁ ce including 3 high quality PIR movement

sensors and 4 reed switches for your doors or windows. It is easy to program and can

communicate alarm conditions with up to 2 people via their mobile phones. It is also

possible to connect to a back-to-base monitoring service provider of your choice for a

higher level of protection. Communication is sent using the industry standard Contact

ID communication protocol.

Please note: a SIM card is NOT required - SMS messages are sent via your landline.

The SMS messaging function can be disabled if desired so as to operate as a regular

‘dialer’ alarm control panel only. All programming is done via a simple menu driven

system, with large easy to read characters on an LCD keypad. The keypad is backlit

for easy viewing at night.

The panel has been speciﬁ cally designed in Australia to meet the requirements of the

average home or ofﬁ ce, and to be easily installed by either a trade professional or

electronics handyperson.
