EAS labels & tags are used as anti-theft devices. The tag or label is used with a doorway reader to detect if an item is being removed

without authorisation. EAS systems are used mainly in retail stores, data centres, and libraries. When applied to items, the EAS tag

/ label is capable of activating an audible alarm as it passes through the doorway detector. Because of the anti-theft protection they

provide, EAS systems allow more freedom for retail stores to display items that would usually be locked in display cases. This allows

the consumer to examine the product more closely before purchasing.

Doorway Readers

Locate the doorway reader at the front entrance of the shop or

the cashiers in supermarket. Any product that has an EAS tag

attached, must be presented to the cashier to deactivate the code;

if the EAS tag hasn’t been deactivated, when passing through

the doorway reader, the alarm will sound, in order to notify staff

members.

8MHz RF Hard Tag

The RFT hard tag with chrome pin is commonly used

in fashion retail shops. The pin is designed to allow the

tag to be pinned onto the clothing without damage. To

remove, simply place the tag on top of the magnetic

detacher, and the pin will release.

The ink tag provides double the security for your products.

It contains a small amount of highly visible ink, if anyone
